   IMPORTANT SAFETY PRACTICE

It is recommended that you test the life jacket with your child in shallow water to ensure that it will offer maximum buoyancy, keeping the head and chin above water. Based on their body weight distribution, children float differently than adults.

   HOW TO CHECK FOR A GOOD FIT

Pick the child up by the shoulders of the PFD while outside of the water. If the PFD fits correctly, the chin and ears will not slip through the top opening of the PFD.
