The summer of 2000 was not the traditional summer for an elite group of swimmers from around the world, who shared the same dream - winning Gold at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. Coach Mike Bottom guided a very diverse group of talented world-class swimmers with both traditional and unorthodox techniques. This video depicts the balance of daily training, motivation, camaraderie and fun activities, as this remarkable group prepared and succeeded in achieving their goals. Over 7 minutes of actual NBC USOC film coverage.
