Description

The Swimmer's Snorkel Youth provides new and younger swimmers the ability to focus on stroke technique without breathing interruptions. The snorkel allows children to maintain proper body alignment and head position, which lets them modify their stoke to improve technique and efficiency.

The Swimmer's Snorkel Youth is shorter in length and has a wider opening than the Swimmer's Snorkel, making it easier on smaller lungs. It also comes with a smaller mouth piece, soft neoprene head bracket, and a nose clip to make the learning process more comfortable.

Quick Instructions:

Proper Use

Place the tube through the head bracket. Adjust the head bracket on the forehead for comfort and place the mouthpiece in the mouth. Use of a nose clip (included) may be necessary for some swimmers, especially those swimming for the first time.

Proper Care & Cleaning

Store snorkel in cool, dry environment between uses to avoid deterioration. Cleanse mouthpiece with soap and hot water between uses.

Purge Valve Care

The purge valve is located on the bottom of the mouthpiece unit and is comprised of two pieces: a silicone gasket and a hard plastic valve retainer. This valve allows a one way flow of water to escape from the tube. This valve may need to be cleaned periodically, especially if debris is built up between the silicone valve and the plastic retainer. Debris buildup in the valve may cause the snorkel to leak and the valve should be removed and cleaned with soap and hot water.
